Mast Road Work Starting May 3, 2021

Mast Road Bridge Construction Dexter

On Monday, May 3, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin a bridge maintenance project on the Mast Rd Bridge over the Huron River on the border of Webster Township and the City of Dexter.

One lane will be closed on the bridge during this project. Temporary traffic signals will be placed to maintain two-way traffic in the one open lane.

Left turns will be prohibited from Huron River Dr. and Huron St onto Mast Rd/Central St. Riders should use the B2B Trail from Dexter-Huron Metropark to its intersection with Central in Dexter to avoid the Mast Road bridge.

WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route if possible.

The work is expected to last until the end of July. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions. Sidewalks and crossing signals will not be impacted by this work. If you have any questions concerning this work, please contact Nate Murphy, project manager and bridge engineer, (734) 327-6647,  murphyn@wcroads.org.
