One Helluva Ride !

When

One Helluva Ride is always held on the 2nd Saturday in July.  This year it will be held on July 11, 2026.

There is no official start time and riders may leave at any time, but should check the OHR Schedule for when pre-registered check-in begins, when lunch and rest stops will be available, as well as the rest of the events of the day.

Details / Price

Registration opens on March 1st. Closes July 5th.

Registration is via RunSignUp.

Participants 17 years of age and under are free but must be registered.

No day of ride registration!

Class 1 eBikes are allowed. 
Refunds: we will return 90% of your checkout fees until May 31st. No refunds after May 31st.  Request a refund via the RunSignUp site.

Information for Minors

All minors (17 years and younger) participating in One Helluva Ride must be registered and accompanied by an adult while on the ride. The minor’s parent/legal guardian must complete and sign a AABTS Release and Waiver of Liability form for all minors.  

By signing the waiver the parent or legal guardian attests that they are responsible to see that the minor is accompanied by an adult. The waiver is signed electronically via the online registration process.


Parents and legal guardians are expected to read the AABTS’s safety guidelines which can be found here: OHR Ride Safety

Lunch & Snacks

The registration fee includes snacks/beverages at the rest stops, lunch after the ride, live music and OHR's traditional Ice Cold Watermelon.

Lunch is provided by Slows Bar BQ and will include a pulled chicken, pulled pork or vegetarian/vegan BBQ sandwich with choice of BBQ sauce, Mac-n-Cheese,  and green beans (vegan) mustard sauce or olive oil/sea salt. Also we'll have  Ice Cream Bars or Italian Ice (vegan). 

Volunteers will provide a wide variety of snacks and beverages at the Rest Stops.  Please review the OHR Schedule to ensure that you do not arrive before they open or after they close.  

There will be restrooms and/or porta-john facilities at the Rest Stops.
