Options include around Cavanuagh Lake (+10 mi) or trail north from Chelseas to North Territorial Road (+ 10 mi.) or loop to Waterloo and back on Rt. 52 or trail to Chelsea (+18). Alternative start is Wheller Park in Ann Arbor on your own with meet up at Barton Pond parking lot start. Check calender day of ride if raining for cancellation or delayed start. Gravel ride from Old St. Patrick Church to Independence Lake and back. Various available return routes, allowing ride to be from 22 to 24 miles. Start time will change to 9am in May.

We will ride the B2B from WCC fitness center into Ypsi and turning around at Van Buren Park for about a 21 mile ride. The ride is mostly on path, but we will be on the road in bike lanes for parts of the ride.
Park in the Southwest Corner of the WCC Fitness lot.

Approximate pace is 10-12 mph, but slower or faster riders are welcome and we will regroup at various points.
Rear lights and some form of rearview mirror are recommended. Bike helmets are required! Please be sure your bike is in good working order and bring supplies to fix a flat or do small repairs on the road if necessary.

We will gather for a drink or a bite to eat somewhere after the ride for anyone who is interested.
This is a ride focused on women, but men are welcome to attend.

Asphalt and crushed limestone dedicated rail trail. Flat terrain, smooth surface, all types of bikes. Distance 25 to 55 miles getting progressively longer through the season. There will be at least one rest stop on each ride. The route has a number of small towns with bakeries and ice cream spots. There are also a few shaded picnic tables along the trail.

Ride the less-traveled roads West and North of Chelsea. Ride lengths vary from 20 miles early in the season up to 30+ mid-season. Depending on the number of riders, the attendees may make several stops during the ride to regroup or may divide into smaller groups of varying speeds. Many in the group meet in Chelsea area restaurants after for some dinner and socializing. Start Location occasionally changes so check the calendar for any updates.

Lights are mandatory for fall, winter and spring rides. Routes vary each week and the group will wait for those that are having a bad day.

This ride will leave from the BTB trailhead near the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dexter at 9:00. We will ride ~30 miles, ending at the AABTS Pizza Party in Dexter Huron Metropark (so after pizza you will be on your own to return the ~1 mile to your car). Route TBD--check back closer to ride date.

The Bluegrass Cycling Club‘s Horsey Hundred is our club‘s favorite invitational. This 2-day event, based in Georgetown, Kentucky, takes place Memorial Day Weekend, this year on May 25 & 26. It offers routes from 21 to 100 miles each day through the horse farm country north of Lexington. Every year about 40 Ann Arbor Bicycle Touring Society (AABTS) members make the 5-6-hour drive to see what other club members are raving about.
AABTS is offering some special pre- and post-tour features again this year so you can make this a 2-, 3-, 4-, or even 5-day cycling vacation. Check the May AABTS Ride Calendar for more details.

Alternative start is Wheller Park in Ann Arbor on your own with meet up at Barton Pond parking lot start. Check calender day of ride if raining for cancellation or delayed start. Asphalt and crushed limestone dedicated rail trail. Flat terrain, smooth surface, all types of bikes. Distance 25 to 55 miles getting progressively longer through the season. There will be at least one rest stop on each ride. The route has a number of small towns with bakeries and ice cream spots. There are also a few shaded picnic tables along the trail.

Ride the less-traveled roads West and North of Chelsea. Ride lengths vary from 20 miles early in the season up to 30+ mid-season. Depending on the number of riders, the attendees may make several stops during the ride to regroup or may divide into smaller groups of varying speeds. Many in the group meet in Chelsea area restaurants after for some dinner and socializing. Start Location occasionally changes so check the calendar for any updates.

There will be at least one rest stop on each ride. The route has a number of small towns with bakeries and ice cream spots. There are also a few shaded picnic tables along the trail.

Depending on the number of riders, the attendees may make several stops during the ride to regroup or may divide into smaller groups of varying speeds. Many in the group meet in Chelsea area restaurants after for some dinner and socializing. Start Location occasionally changes so check the calendar for any updates.

Lights are mandatory for fall, winter and spring rides. Routes vary each week and the group will wait for those that are having a bad day.
