We will ride the dirt roads around Dixboro, starting from the parking lot near Moonwinks. Gravel, hybrid or mountain bike recommended. Meet at 5:45 so we can roll out at 6pm sharp! Approximate pace is 10-12 mph, but slower or faster riders are welcome and we will regroup at various points. If you think you are significantly faster or slower than this pace please have a means to download the route so you don‘t get lost if you end up getting away from the group. Route will be about 15 miles. It‘s a bit more hilly than some of our last few rides. The roads are in pretty good shape other than some potholes that are easy to avoid. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/46462124 Rear lights and some form of rearview mirror are recommended. Bike helmets are required! Please be sure your bike is in good working order and bring supplies to fix a flat or do small repairs on the road if necessary. Please RSVP if you are coming. We will gather for a drink or a bite to eat at Rappourt or wherever the group would like to go after the ride for anyone who is interested. There will be at least one rest stop on each ride. The route has a number of small towns with bakeries and ice cream spots. There are also a few shaded picnic tables along the trail.

Depending on the number of riders, the attendees may make several stops during the ride to regroup or may divide into smaller groups of varying speeds. We will ride the B2B from WCC fitness center into Ypsi and turning around at Van Buren Park for about a 21 mile ride. The ride is mostly on path, but we will be on the road in bike lanes for parts of the ride. Ride the less-traveled roads West and North of Chelsea. Ride lengths vary from 20 miles early in the season up to 30+ mid-season. Depending on the number of riders, the attendees may make several stops during the ride to regroup or may divide into smaller groups of varying speeds. Many in the group meet in Chelsea area restaurants after for some dinner and socializing. Start Location occasionally changes so check the calendar for any updates.

Tuesday Dirt Ride. Rollout is at 6:15pm from the parking lot of Aberdeen Bike. Distance varies from 20 to 35 miles. The ride goes year round and is dependent on the weather conditions. Lights are mandatory for fall, winter and spring rides. Routes vary each week and the group will wait for those that are having a bad day.
