Ride from Old St. Patrick‘s Church to Independence Lake, and back, about 22-24 miles, depending upon route. Pass a llama farm on Gregory road. Rest stop, with bathrooms, at Independence Lake.
Aberdeen Bike and Outdoors
Tuesday Dirt Ride. Rollout is at 6:15pm from the parking lot of Aberdeen Bike. Distance varies from 20 to 35 miles. The ride goes year round and is dependent on the weather conditions. Lights are mandatory for fall, winter and spring rides. Routes vary each week and the group will wait for those that are having a bad day.
I will send out an email on Sunday or Monday announcing the ride and ask that you respond if you are planning to ride.

Barton-Bandemer Tunnel Opens Ribbon cutting 5 NOVEMBER 2025 1:00PM
This may be of general interest to the AABTS. If schedules permit, please stop by Argus Liberty tomorrow to hear an update on the Treeline pathway. Norm Herbert and Cynthia VanRenterghem will provide comments at 5:45, including an update on the route the pathway will take as it connects Lowertown and the Border to Border to downtown Ann Arbor.

Gravel Ride from Trinity Church to Dixbor and back, 18-20 miies, depending upon route. Rest stop at Dixboro United Methodist Church.

Dixboro Dam Parking Area (Gallop Park B2B Entrance)
B2B trail ride from Dixboro Dam parking area off Dixboro Rd to Barton Dam with a break then back on Thursday morning at 10:00 am. It is exclusively on the B2B pathway through Gallup Park, Broadway Park, Bandemer Park, and under the new RR tunnel to Barton Park. There are many turns and often pedestrians, so this is a very C ride.
Cavanaugh Lake County Park
Meet at the Cavanaugh Lake Parking lot at in Chelsea. Ride to various weekly destinations on paved rode with stop at a diner. Kevin McGuinness (734-649-9762) Route will be posted prior to ride.
Delhi Metro Park
(park in the lot to the left of the toll booth.)
Due to construction at Barton Nature Area parking lot, this ride will start at Delhi Park until construction is completed.
Ride Friday morning to Dexter and Hudson Mills Metro Park. Pack a lunch or stop in Dexter for coffee or Breakfast. C, B, and A riders welcome. Distances up to riders, most common is Delhi Metro Park to Dexter Metro Park to Hudson Mills Metro Park with 2-loops for 28 miles. Others may start in Dexter and join the main group about 30 minutes after Delhi Metro Park start time. This option shortens the 2-loop ride to 18 miles.
Note there is a $10 daily fee or annual pass required for cars to enter the metro parks. Park elsewhere and ride your bike to the start in Delhi Metro Park if you do not want to buy a daily or annual park pass. Bikes are free.

Gravel road ride (approximately 18 miles) leaving from Olson Park, with a rest stop at St. John‘s Evangelical Lutheran Church (about 10 miles from start).
Join us November 8th at 6pm for movie night! We will project a movie in the store and have popcorn and drinks. BRING A CHAIR! Seating is limited, but space is not.
Barton Nature Area Parking Lot
Ride Saturday morning to Dexter (16 mi. RT) or Chelsea (32 mi. RT). Stop at Zous Zous in Chelsea for coffee and or snack. B, C riders and A riders welcome. Distances up to riders, most common is Barton Dam Parkinng lot to Chelsea , but riders may extend to what they want. Options include around Cavanuagh Lake (+10 mi) or trail north from Chelsea to North Territorial Road (+ 10 mi.) or loop to Waterloo and back on Rt. 52 or trail to Chelsea (+18). Alternative start is Wheeler Park in Ann Arbor on your own with meet up at Bird Hill Parking lot at start time or anywhere on Huron River Drive (join us as we ride by).
